Cell Phone Rules

Phones may be used...

• During morning home room time
• When waiting for activity to be called
• During bus dismissal
• With teacher permission (example: start of class or when work is complete)

Phones may not be used...

• During instructional class time

If a student is in violation of the cell phone rules, the student will be given one warning before being sent to the Mediation Center to turn in their phone.

Video recording is against Manchester Board of Education policy and against school policy. If a student is observed recording a video in school, the student will be directed to Mediation. At that time, the student will have to turn the phone in for the day.
